Job Summary Carrier is seeking a Senior Engineer, Mechanical Engineering to support its portfolio of commercial water‑cooled chillers, including centrifugal and screw compressor platforms. This role is responsible for sustaining engineering activities across the product lifecycle, with a strong focus on field reliability, regulatory compliance, manufacturing support, and continuous improvement of existing chiller products. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the technical authority for assigned water‑cooled chiller platforms, including centrifugal and/or screw compressor systems. - Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions (RCCA, 8D) for field failures, warranty issues, and reliability concerns. - Drive engineering changes to improve reliability, manufacturability, serviceability, cost, and lifecycle performance. - Support production by being a part of the solution resolving manufacturing issues, nonconformances, and supplier-related quality concerns. - Engineer, Review and approve Engineering Change Requests (ECR/ECOs), deviations, concessions, and obsolescence-driven redesigns. - Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards, including ASME pressure vessel requirements...
