Job Summary: The Rollins College Information Technology Department is seeking a service and results-oriented Voice & Network Technician I to join their team! This position reports to the Network Architect and takes daily guidance from the Senior Voice & Network Technician and is an integral member of the team that installs and maintains low voltage cabling, phones, door access systems, and network equipment. They will assist in troubleshooting wired/wireless connectivity issues, supporting campus users and collaborates with vendors to ensure reliable, future ready layer 1 infrastructure. Providing our Community with Outstanding Experiences - Perform low voltage cable installations and terminations, including the running of structured cable in a variety of challenging environments. - Troubleshoot and perform needed repairs and maintenance on all college supported VOIP and analog devices (dead phone, static online, etc.) using network tester, telephone test set, tone generator and hand tools.
