The Digital Modernization Sector has an exciting career opportunity for a Platform Systems Engineer – Architect in El Segundo, CA to support the US Space Force’s Space Systems Command (SSC). This role is instrumental in the development and deployment of mission critical software for space defense, space domain awareness, and enabling data services. This role combines the strategic vision of a solutions architect with the technical depth of cloud/hybrid cloud platform engineering. Primary Responsibilities: Designing and implementing a modern, integrated cloud/hybrid cloud platform that is both future-proof and aligned with current performance/mission objectives. Understand multiple components and document the complete architecture of the current cloud/hybrid cloud platform implementation. Manage the entire technical baseline, including the environment(s) and applications, providing comprehensive recommendations for improving and optimizing the existing solution.
