About the Job: The Staff Accountant supports core accounting functions, including general ledger management, month-end close, reconciliations, revenue recognition, and audit preparation. This role focuses on ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data across systems and is cross-trained across multiple areas to support strong internal controls, operational continuity, and team collaboration. You’ll wow us by masterfully performing the following key duties and responsibilities: Essential functions: - Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including deferred revenue, prepaids, and related-party accounts. - Review general ledger activity and investigate variances to ensure accuracy and completeness. - Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations. - Reconcile revenue recorded in the general ledger reports and operational systems across multiple programs (e.g., Daxko, CampMinder, Blackbaud/Raiser’s Edge). - Part...
