Position Title: Student Teaching Supervisor Department/School: School Social & Behavioral Sciences Salary/Pay Rate: $1,250 per 1 credit with upward adjustment for years of service at Marist University. Pay may vary depending on credits pertaining to online, graduate, music, or lab courses. Job Summary: The School of Social & Behavioral Sciences invites Student Teaching Supervisors for the 2026-2027 academic year. Essential Functions: The Teacher Education Department is collaborative community of 11 full-time faculty as well as several, valued, part-time faculty. The department offers New York State-approved pathways including Adolescence Education with Special Education, Childhood Education with Special Education, a Birth through Grade 2 (B-2) certificate, and the M.S. Ed. in Contemporary Curriculum and Instruction. Grounded in culturally responsive teaching and a commitment to the social good, faculty work closely with candidates to integrate theory, research, and sustained fieldwork, preparing innovative educators who are ready to support the success of all learners.
