Department: 34316 Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center - Diabetic Education Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Monday through Friday 8 - 5. Pay Range: $35.50 - $53.25 EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: - Associate's degree (or Two-year Professional Program) from an accredited school of Nursing required. - BSN or Bachelor's degree in Human Nutrition, Foods and Nutrition, Biological Sciences, Dietetics, Sociology, Public Health, Psychology, or Pharmacy with two years' diabetes related work experience preferred. - Patient oriented educational experience preferred. - Broad range of knowledge on diabetes for age appropriate population and its interrelation to co-existing health problems required. LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: - Current licensure or certification in applicable state to practice as a Registered Nurse, Registered Dietitian, Registered Pharmacist, Social Worker, Family Counselor, Health Educator, or Exercise Physiologist. - Certified Diabetes Educator (C.D.E.) preferred.
