M365 Platform Engineer

Job description

Position Summary Vista Equity Partners is seeking an M365 Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our Microsoft 365 platform using modern infrastructure-as-code and automation practices. This role combines platform engineering principles with M365 administration to create scalable, secure, and self-service solutions. The position also serves as backup to our IAM Platform Engineer for Entra ID operations. Responsibilities: - Design and implement automation solutions for M365 platform management using PowerShell, Bash, and Terraform. - Configure, secure, and monitor all M365 services (excluding SharePoint) using infrastructure-as-code practices. - Develop and maintain Azure Automation, Logic Apps, Power Automate, and Power Apps for automated response to platform events. - Manage Microsoft Entra ID configurations including conditional access policies, privileged access management, and identity lifecycle automation. - Implement and maintain security policies across the M365 stack, including Defender for Office 365 and Information Protection. - Assist in administration and governance of Power Platform environments. - Create self-service capabilities and automated workflows...
