Job description

Responsibilities The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for prescribing, delegating and coordinating all nursing care to assigned patients. Utilizes the nursing process and the Relationship Based Care Nursing Model in delivering nursing care. Assumes an active role in delegation, critical thinking and shared decision-making. Participates in continuous quality improvement initiatives. Communicates and collaborates with others to achieve desired patient care outcomes. Provides patient and family education. Provides leadership to other members of the patient care team. Qualifications: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING: - Graduate of an approved school of nursing. - Current and valid state RN License. - Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current. - Current ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current is required if working in OR, Emergency Department or any Critical Care Unit - Unit-specific credentials may be required to be achieved within a specified time frame after hire and maintained.
