Job description

Summary: Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of tableware, cookware and glassware. Ensures sanitation of kitchen daily. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned. Reports to work on time and in uniform for each scheduled shift. Presents a neat, clean and professional appearance at all times. Eliminates safety hazards and report all injuries and accidents to the Supervisor or Manager immediately. Follows daily checklist and ensure work is completed prior to leaving. Cleans all glassware, dishes and table utensils using proper procedures to ensure best results. Cleans cookware and presentation pieces for use by kitchen associates. Maintains cleanliness and organization of dish area, mop room and chemical storage. Safely and properly stores all glassware, dishes and table utensils as designated. Properly stores all clean cooking utensils and vessels on racks and in drawers as designated. Ensures the floors are kept swept and dry at all times; uses Wet Floor warning signs. Removes trash, recyclables and waste oil and discards in proper receptacles.
