EHS Manager Tarkett is seeking a hands-on EHS Manager to develop, establish, and maintain an environmental health and safety program that strives to meet or exceed all regulatory requirements, and provides for a safe work environment that is free of hazards in pursuit of zero work-related injuries / illnesses, using a behavioral-based approach. The position will manage EHS for the Florence, AL Campus. ** Relocation assistance can be available for non-local candidates. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead and manage all aspects of the Environmental Health and Safety program within the plants - Assist in ensuring compliance to all Safe Work Practices (SWP), regulatory standards (EPA, DEP, OSHA, NFPA, etc.) and plant policies and procedures. - Lead both the Safety and Environmental World Class Manufacturing (WCM) Pillars - Lead the ISO 14001 / 18001 EHS requirements and audit process for continued certification - Work with outside Environmental firms to ensure environmental compliance - Formulate and deliver safety training presentations and training for both small and large audiences, hourly and salaried. - Deliver EHS orientation to new and temporary associates. - Assist in e...
