JOB DESCRIPTION: Position Title: Sales Assistant- Off Premise FLSA: Exempt Department: Sales Last Updated: June 2021 GENERAL SUMMARY: Reviews auto generated orders for proper inventory and order accuracy. Transmitts assigned customer orders on time. Encourages and influences customers to use P.O.S. thematic display items. Works with sales represantitves selling, display building and ordering of product to achieve volume and distribution objectives. Merchandises company product in assigned customers including weekends. Takes day to day work direction from Sales Representative to whom they are assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Works with sales team on daily sales call frequency to include generating sales orders, merchandising and display building. - Ensures that all customer orders assigned are transmitted on time using the company provided handheld unit. - Travels through assigned territory to merchandise and fully stock shelves at off-premise customers, which could include liquor stores, drug stores, convenience, gas, neighborhood stores and supermarkets etc. - Takes inventory of current stock in order to determine future reorder needs.
