Job description

Overview The Material Handler is responsible for the daily management and movement of company inventory. This role supports operational efficiency by ensuring materials are received, stored, issued, and tracked accurately and safely. The position works closely with engineers, technicians, and cross‑functional teams to maintain smooth material flow and uphold inventory integrity. Daily travel may be required to support regional asset movement and disposal activities. Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, store, and issue materials in accordance with company procedures. Verify material quality and identify defects or discrepancies. Accurately identify materials using part numbers or written descriptions. Count, weigh, and record materials handled on daily production sheets. Maintain accurate inventory records using SAP and other systems. Load, unload, and move materials within or near the work site. Manually transfer materials onto or from pallets, shelves, and designated storage areas. Transport materials from storage locations to work areas as needed.
