Description The Physics and Astrophysics Department invites expressions of interest in part-time faculty teaching opportunities for the 2025-2026 Academic year within the following areas: Preference given to persons experienced in using PER methods. In order to best serve the students, part-time faculty are expected to perform all duties and responsibilities of a faculty member that are commensurate and consistent with the faculty member’s qualifications and the best interests of DePaul University. - Teaching algebra based first year sequence - Teaching physics to the non-science students - Teaching basic electronics courses to non-physics majors Qualifications: PhD or Masters in subject area to be taught is required. Considerations: Exceptions to standard rates may apply to courses with unique credit hours, supervision, labs, clinical/practicum courses, coaching, administrative tasks, and courses that are either over-enroled or under-enrolled.
