As an MLS/MLT , you will independently perform clinical laboratory procedures in blood bank, chemistry, hematology, immunology, and microbiology . You’ll ensure analytic integrity through rigorous quality control , instrument maintenance , and troubleshooting , and you’ll communicate professionally with providers and colleagues to support efficient diagnosis and treatment. Education: Certification: - Perform and verify patient testing across core laboratory disciplines; ensure accuracy, precision, sensitivity, and appropriate reference ranges. - Conduct quality control, calibrations, and instrument maintenance; document activities per lab policy and accreditation standards. - Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve pre‑analytic, analytic, and post‑analytic issues; escalate as needed. - Accurately interpret, document, and report results in the LIS/EMR within established turnaround times. - Maintain competency, adhere to CLIA/CAP/Joint Commission standards, and follow safety and infection prevention protocols. - Serve as a resource for providers and team members;...
