Laboratory Technician - Engineering

Job description

Work as a laboratory technician with emphasis on chemical and material lab expertise. Use technical knowledge to facilitate iterative product development and conduct experiments and testing to rapidly validate design changes. Operate and maintain state of the art laboratory equipment. Job Responsibilities: - Responsible for supporting project managers and engineers for sample preparation, testing and laboratory maintenance. - Receiving, labeling, and safely storing samples to be tested - Performing tests needed for the product performance analysis and report the results - Discussing and answering any questions regarding the results - Organizing and storing samples in accordance with all safety and other requirements to ensure the safety of personnel and integrity of the sample - Maintaining lab equipment, including calibration of equipment - Maintaining equipment records, daily work logs and organizational skills - Good communication and teamwork skills and able to follow instructions/procedures - Ability to write failure analysis reports, project reports, and equipment operating procedure documentation . - Ability to write failure analysis reports, project reports, and equipment o...
