JOB DETAILS: Shift 1st/ Day Shift Location In - Shop Schedule Work schedule to be provided by leader Salary Range $18.00 - $24.29 Per Hour JOB SUMMARY: Develop mechanical and technical skills and knowledge. Maintain acceptable grades, attendance and performance ratings throughout the program as determined by shop supervisors, classroom training instructors and program coordinator. Understand and perform within Empire’s conduct standards, work ethics and performance standards. Must be willing to accept this position with NO guarantee of future employment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Maintain classroom and self-study training grades and curriculum to avoid disqualification from the program. - Maintain attendance above minimum program standards. - Maintain acceptable attitude and cooperation standards. - Keep work area and tool boxes clean and orderly. - Learn to use parts books, NPR, SIRS, SIS and other required literature and systems. - Learn basic systems and component functions (electrical, hydraulic, engines and power trains). - Learn to disassemble, clean, reassemble and install components and parts. - Maintain company equipment – report repair needs to supervisor. - Prepare reports...
