Database Engineer 8x8 is seeking a Database Engineer to join our engineering team responsible for managing and optimizing database infrastructure across on-premises, AWS, and OCI environments. This is a hands-on role requiring deep expertise in relational database systems, replication architectures, performance tuning, and automation. You will partner with development and infrastructure teams to ensure database platforms deliver the highest levels of availability, performance, and data integrity across a globally distributed environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives under pressure, and is passionate about database reliability at scale.
