Responsibilities Under the direct supervision of the Lead Dispatcher, the Dispatcher is responsible for all aspects of the communications/PBX equipment operation, any situations directly related to communications/PBX, radio dispatch to maintenance and/or security and/or building services. Qualifications: MINIMUM EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered. MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: Two years dispatcher/PBX experience in a medical or emergency environment preferred. REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: None: REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES: Computer knowledge with working knowledge of software programs, Word, Access, and Basic PC. Strong communication skills, clear speaking with PBX, dispatching experience. Typing minimum 35 words per minute. Bilingual a plus.
