Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Security Guard / Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) position. Under minimal direct supervision, this role ensures security and safety of the community by patrolling the buildings and grounds and monitoring the gatehouse. During emergency situations, determines nature and extent of illness or injury, or magnitude of the incident, to establish first aid procedures, until further professional assistance can arrive. Conducts an assessment, administers CPR, AED, and/or prescribed first-aid treatment at site of emergency and contacts outside emergency services.
