Job Summary This position’s primary function is to evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers during onboarding and manage day-to-day account maintenance to support the sales goals of Carlisle’s sales areas and all Carlisle divisions, while minimizing bad debt risk. Core duties include reviewing financial information and payment history, setting appropriate credit limits/terms, and coordinating with Sales and Finance to resolve issues promptly. Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform credit investigations and evaluation of customer risk in order to approve new accounts and assign terms and credit limits. - Monitor accounts on a daily basis: review accounts failing credit validation, place orders on hold, release orders, execute collection strategy, document collection activity, coordinator the resolution of customer deductions, reconcile customer accounts, determine appropriate special credit arrangements, provide credit counseling and making customer visits for purpose of collections as necessary.
