Job DetailsJob Location: Port Charlotte - Port Charlotte, FL 33948Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $20.41 - $20.41 HourlyThe Foster Parent Support Worker provides direct support, guidance, and coordination services to foster parents to promote the safety, stability, and well-being of foster children. This position serves as a liaison between foster parents, agency staff, and community partners, assisting with documentation, training, access to resources, and navigation of the child welfare system. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Proficiency in basic computer applications and online training platforms. - Submit, monitor, and track Early Learning Coalition (ELC) referrals and redeterminations for foster children requiring daycare services. - Initiate timely contact with foster parents following placement and complete all required 72-hour placement documentation. - Utilize FSFN (Florida Safe Families Network) to look up foster parent and child information as needed to complete required 72hr forms and ELC submissions. - Maintain ongoing communication with foster parents to provide support with placement-related challenges, including behavioral co...
