Job description

Department: Division 06 County or State Funded : State Exempt or Non-exempt : Exempt: Pay Grade : S-95: Salary : $72,515.50 annually: Basic Function and Responsibility: Highly responsible work in verbatim reporting of judicial proceedings at high rates of speed and preparing verbatim transcripts as required . Must prepare a complete and accurate report of proceedings and maintain electronic backup storage of such proceedings. Must keep all exhibits in possession until otherwise requested by the court, includes other administrative duties as assigned by the judge or designee. All work performed in accordance with procedures established by the district judges and clerk of court and is reviewed upon completion for accuracy and content. Appointing Authority and Supervision Received: The judge assigned to the division is the appointing authority. Court reporters serve at the pleasure of the judge. Supervision Exercised: None.
