Description Lakota Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates for an Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Mechanic on the swing shift to support our contract at Eglin AFB, FL. This position will report directly to the section lead or a designated representative and is required to perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections, minor/major maintenance, operational checkouts and troubleshooting on assigned powered/non-powered ground support equipment/vehicles. Duties and Responsibilities: - Clears Red “X” condition discrepancies and other forms symbols as required. - Inspects, troubleshoots/diagnoses malfunctions, makes repairs, services, cleans and treats for corrosion powered/non-powered AGE. - Troubleshoots and corrects AGE malfunctions utilizing drawings, diagrams, schematics, and technical instructions. - Troubleshoots and corrects AGE malfunctions utilizing conventional and digital multi-meters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, oscilloscope, and gas turbine engine analyzers. - Removes, disassembles repairs, cleans, treats for corrosion, assembles, and reinstalls AGE accessories and sub-components.
