We are offering a $5000.00 Sign on Bonus for a talented Diesel Technician / Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Hodgkins, IL Please note as of June 22, 2026 the branch will be relocating to 1540 Chain of Rocks Rd, Village of Pontoon Beach, IL 62025 You will make an impact in the following ways: - Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop - Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools - Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles - Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies - Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products - Maintain own tools To be successful in this role you will need the following: - Performs complex unassisted engine overhauls - Ability to troubleshoot with limited/no support from diagnostic tools - Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation - Proficient knowledge in troubleshooting Cummins electrical and aftertreatment using Cummins Insite. - Proficient work experience in replacing internal components (head, pistons, liners, etc.). - Embrace the Cummins values and use them daily. - Reliable and a self-starter with a positive attitude that contributes to the te...
