Position Summary Responsible for the supervision of nursing students in a clinical or campus laboratory setting under the direction of the course faculty. The nursing adjunct instructor is responsible for all experiences for nursing students in a clinical or laboratory setting involving the delivery of nursing care to an individual or group of individuals during the nursing student’s clinical or laboratory experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Implements clinical or laboratory outcomes within the framework of the course in which the student is enrolled, in conjunction with the course faculty. - Communicates clinical or laboratory objectives to the student, preceptor, and the staff at the clinical site. - Provides orientation for each student to the environment of the clinical site or laboratory environment. - Makes assignments consistent with the specific objectives or outcomes of the course in which the student is enrolled. - Provides supervision of each student in accordance with rule 4723-5-20 of the Administrative Code. - Provides input for evaluation of the student’s experience, achievement, and progress in relation to the clinical/laboratory objectives. - Atten...
