- Surgical Case Preparation: This will have been satisfactorily performed when… - Proper equipment, instruments, and supplies are provided for procedures and specialty areas by providing with no more than 2 documented corrective incidents annually. - A well organized sterile setup/field is maintained at all times contributing to smooth operations at all times with no more than 2 documented surgeon complaints annually. - Anticipates and responds effectively by performing assignments in a timely and efficient manner with no more than 2 documented corrective incidents annually. - Proper sterile techniques are followed and maintains a sterile field at all times with no more than 2 documented corrective incidents annually. - Assistance is provided to the circulating RN with procedure/patient preparation with no more than 2 documented corrective incidents annually. - A working knowledge of autoclaves is followed and proper sterilization method for instruments selected at all times with no more than 2 documented corrective incidents annually. - A proper procedure counting of instruments, sponges and sharps is followed with no more than 2 documented corrective incidents annually. - Instrum...
