Description Mercy Home for Children provides comprehensive care to individuals with developmental disabilities and we are hiring for a DSP position in the Brooklyn location. Ability to read, write and properly record for behavior and goal programs accurately as outlined in the consumer plans. High School Diploma or a GED. Valid & Unrestricted N.Y.S. Driver’s License. Acquire and maintain all appropriate certifications necessary for the position through internal training such as SCIP-R, AMAP, First Aid and CPR. Must be creative, enthusiastic, highly motivated and have a positive attitude. Requirements: - Support consumers through teaching them to be the most independent in their self-help-skills, to include bathing, dressing, cooking, eating, housekeeping, laundry, and toileting.
