Job DetailsJob Location: The Woodlands Nursing and Rehabilitation Center - Spring, TX 77381Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 2 Year DegreeJob Shift: 8am - 5pmPrimary Responsibilities The Director of Nursing will verify the provision of quality care that promotes the highest practicable physical, mental and psychological well-being of each resident as determined by resident assessments and individual plans of care. Essential Functions: Responsible for interdisciplinary involvement in the development of plans of care to meet each resident's needs Oversee/direct/coordinate nursing staff to provide proper resident care consistent with standard nursing practices Keep current with the changes in all regulations related to resident care Communicate with attending physician and medical director regarding resident care issues as needed Assure provision of appropriate medication, treatments and nursing services according to care plans and physician’s instructions Assure compliance with state/federal regulations and company standards Perform direct care/procedures when needed; such may include procedures for which the staff is not qualified or licensed to perform Develop and verify imp...
