Position Overview The Butler University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences seeks a collegial and dynamic adjunct faculty member to contribute to innovative teaching in medicinal chemistry. Our Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program is offered in both campus-based and online formats, with an integrated curriculum that includes a four-course series titled Principles of Drug Action. We have a teaching need in both the campus-based and online pathways: Covering: Anti-infective and chemotherapy, Antiprotozoals, Cancer & Drug Therapies of cancer The course materials and structure are thoroughly developed, offering a solid framework for effective instruction. - Campus-Based Program (CBP): Instruction in two courses: - Principles of Drug Action I – covering: eicosanoids in pain, inflammation and coagulation, NSAID’d, Immunosuppressants and inflammatory drugs - Principles of Drug Action III – focusing on infectious disease and cancer drugs. - Commitment: 50 hours of instruction during Fall 2026 (August–December). - Flexibility: Lecture dates can be adjusted to accommodate availability. - Online Program: (OLP) Instruction covering the same course content as CBP, delivered entirely online r...
