POSITION SUMMARY: Properly set, clean and maintain all function rooms, service corridors, storerooms and public function areas in a safe, accident-free manner. Provide excellent customer service and work closely with guests, Sales, and the Food and Beverage departments. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION: - Check the server's and house person’s BEOs to ensure that all information is accurate. - Set rooms, buffets, and tables according to BEO specifications and Supervisor instructions. Check electrical hook-ups for proper working order and tape down all exposed cords for equipment in use. - Perform all guest contact activities or guest requests with a cordial, efficient and professional manner while maintaining a commitment to excellence. - Ensure that all storerooms are clean, organized and secured. Assist in equipment inventory as scheduled. Attend staff set- up and technical training on a regular basis. - Organize Banquet rooms to ensure a productive, safe and energy conserving work environment. - Ensure proper maintenance (cleaning and repair) of all equipment. - Ensure that all unused rooms are set to department’s standards. - Constantly communicate all concerns to department Manager. - As...
