This position will serve as a Epileptologist in the Department of Neurology at the University of South. The successful candidate will be academically oriented and responsible for providing comprehensive medical care and health counseling to patients. Additional responsibilities include conducting health seminars, offering consultative health services, and participating in educational activities. This role provides opportunities to teach medical students, residents, and fellows. - CLINICAL (90%): Responsible for providing medical care, including outpatient and in hospital examinations/diagnosis and treatment/therapy. Prepares medical records and correspondence related to patient care. Conducts health counseling in preventative medicine for patients. - TEACHING (5%): Conducts teaching to Fellow, residents and medical students in the Department of Neurology. - OTHER (5%): Other duties as assigned. - Responsible to a Chair or other appropriate higher-level administrator of a State university.
