Location: Valley Senior Living- Tufte Manor Recently Increased Compensation Rates: - Starting hourly rate from $19.68 to $24.09 - Full-time position available Available shift times: - AM Shift: 6:15 am- 2:15 pm - AM Shift: 5:00 am- 1:30 pm - Weekend shift differential given Excellent Benefits: - Paid Time Off, Extended Sick Leave, Health & Dental Insurance, and 401K matching Description: The Assistant Cook supports daily meal service for residents and tenants by preparing baked goods, salads, and desserts, as well as assisting with food preparation and kitchen operations. This role helps ensure meals are safe, nutritious, and served in a welcoming, respectful environment that supports person-centered care. The Assistant Cook follows standardized recipes, portion guidelines, and food safety protocols to ensure the preparation of high-quality and consistent food. In addition to food preparation, this position assists with meal service, receives and stores groceries, and helps maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen in accordance with sanitation and safety standards.
