Catalyst Camps – Camp Leaders support the planning and implementation of the Catalyst Camp’s program for school age children ranging in grades from TK-8 grade, depending on the site. Catalyst Camp Leaders must be able to facilitate a variety of age-appropriate activities, support children’s’ social emotional development, and ensure all children are supervised at all times in a healthy and safe environment. Essential Job Functions: - Implement and maintain intentional, enriched, and supportive camp environments connected to curriculum and quality experiences that are appropriate for all children. - Provide for a progression of activities within the framework of individual and group interests and abilities. - Uses stories, songs, games, skits, camp names and other elements of camp culture to create a camp atmosphere. - Provide excellent customer service by establishing and maintaining authentic connections and reciprocal, culturally responsive relationships with children, youth, families, and camp team. - Keep children/youth healthy and safe by connecting proper supervision, positive interactions, camp culture, and healthy habits. - Be alert to equipment and facilities to ensure util...
