The Role: Under the general direction of the Director, the Maintenance Worker is responsible for the daily maintenance, repairs, cleanliness, and physical plant upkeep in accordance with local and governing agency codes. The primary goal of this position is to provide a safe, secure, and clean environment for clients and staff. This work is carried out in support of the mission and goals of Samaritan Daytop Village. Responsibilities: What You Will Do: - Performs daily routine repairs and maintenance to the site’s physical plant. - Monitors fire and safety integrity of the facility. - Maintains site and makes necessary repairs to plumbing, electrical, doors and locks, flooring, etc. - May supervise daily janitorial/housekeeping services. - Monitors and inspects equipment to maintain optimum wor...
