Job Title: Radiology Transport Department: Radiology Administration Location: United Memorial Medical Center (UMMC-Batavia) Hours Per Week: FT - 37.7 hours Schedule: 12 pm to 8 pm, rotating weekends. SUMMARY: In a customer service-oriented manner, interviews patients and/or their representative to collect required registration data, including but not limited to demographic and financial data, as well as obtain required signatures, communicates mandated patient information, and verifies all information for accuracy. Process includes but is not limited to insurance verification, obtaining precertification/authorization, co-payment collection, and communicating with the patient and/or their representative with regard to their financial assistance needs. RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepares and positions patients for examination, treatment, and procedures following established procedures. Replenishes and prepares exam and treatment rooms with medical supplies, equipment, and linen, maintaining a neat, clean, and appropriately stocked environment.
