Location: 3345 Market Street Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:00AM-5:00PM (Additional hours as necessary to meet the objectives of the department) Function : The Community Mortgage Lender establishes and maintains relationships with community-based organizations, Realtors, and government agencies which result in lending opportunities to ensure full compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act. Duties and Responsibilities: Sells and originates Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) mortgage loans in an assigned community market serving low to moderate income borrowers. Maintains 50% of business as CRA eligible. Establishes and enhances the Bank’s community presence by: Participating in trade shows, conferences, seminars, and related events Meeting and interacting with various housing agencies and governmental entities focused on CRA initiatives Conducting multiple first-time home buyer seminars annually to educate potential clients throughout the Bank’s footprint Organizing customer appreciation events, seminars, and conference calls Creating strategic partnerships with non-profit organizations with down payment assistance programs Develops and expands referral sources to regularly generate new...
