Quality Control Technician

Job Summary Ability to perform various quality control test on products to verify that all products meet or exceed minimum UL Requirements. Ability to perform inspection on cutting lines, molding/expanding, and shipping departments to ensure quality products are produced and shipped out to the customer. Standard work week 40 hours a week with occasional overtime, no travel required. Duties and Responsibilities: - Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. - Use dimensional measuring devices to ensure product meets job order specifications, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. - Enter all test results into company database and manage documents. - Communicate quality issues with engineering, shipping and scheduling daily. - Enforce safety and sanitation regulations. - Participate in U.L. audits on a quarterly basis. - Act as plant liaison to the Tech Center in regard to all QC functions. - Conduct root cause analysis regarding quality issues, identify and implement appropriate corrective actions. - Assist external and internal quality audits. - Assist Production teams with process changes, quality plan documentation, and test requirement u...
