Responsibilities Peraton’s Space & Intelligence Sector is looking for a Software Engineer to join our diverse team at our Herndon, VA, office. The candidate will work within a cross-functional Agile Scrum Team primarily focusing on building and maintaining systems running in a containerized environment. Qualifications: Required Qualifications: - A Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree requirement - 2+ years of experience with Java - 3+ years of experience with Python - 2+ years of experience with SQL - 2+ years of experience with Shell Script - 2+ years of experience with Unix/Linux - TS/SCI with current CI poly Preferred Qualifications: - 2 years of experience with JavaScript - Security+ or equivalent certification and willingness to serve as a privileged user supporting deployed systems testing - 2 years of experience with Kubernetes (Red Hat OpenShift or another variant) - Familiarity with NiFi - Experience with cross-domain systems Peraton Overview: Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of conseq...
