Newport News, Virginia Overview: The Physical Therapist will follow appropriate practices, to perform evaluations, timely re-evaluations and OASIS assessments, determine PT diagnoses, develop a plan of care, and perform physical therapy procedures to aid in restoring function, improving mobility, relieving pain, improving health, and preventing or limiting permanent physical disability. This position must also be able to follow and adhere to the practices described in the Department Policy and Procedure Manual. The Therapist is required to be flexible with daily scheduling and may be required to work various patient care settings. What you will do: - Performs evaluations, determines PT diagnoses, develops plan of care, and performs physical therapy procedures to aid in restoring function, improving mobility, relieving pain, improving health, and preventing or limiting permanent physical disability.
