Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift Plastics

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on all machines & equipment in the plant. - Install and move production machines and manufacturing equipment. - Diagnose and repair machine malfunctions. - Configure, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and/or controls. - Ensure shop, equipment and tools are safe to use. - Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and in good working order and secured. - Responsible for maintaining facilities equipment. - Operate maintenance shop equipment and hand tools. - Fabricate parts, weld, cut and install metalwork as needed - Assist in training entry level team members. - Understand and follow all safety procedures. - Maintain housekeeping and 6S standards. - Identify quality issues and attain established productivity standards. - Understand and adhere to safety policies and procedures. - Perform related responsibilities as required or directed. - This role is a full-time position within our site where we have a team approach to manufacturing.
