What you will do Johnson Controls is seeking a Principal Power Electronics Engineer to support our Chillers product group based in New Freedom, PA. You will be responsible for designing, testing and sustaining Variable Speed Drives (VSD) for chiller applications. This team conducts design, simulation, prototype testing, reliability testing and confirms that the product operates as expected with reference to specific documented hardware requirements. This position is located onsite in New Freedom, PA. Candidates must be commuting distance, or able to relocate. Johnson Controls offers various relocation packages based on your needs. How you will do it: Serve as technical expert within Power Electronics Department that is responsible to design, test, and maintain power electronics products and systems for Johnson Controls’ chiller applications. Determine the best techniques, procedures and/or theories as they apply to the development of power electronics products and systems.
