Bargaining Unit: UUP Job Summary: The Department of Ambulatory Dialysis at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Dialysis Technician / Vascular Assistant (Evenings). The successful candidate will: - Prepare dialysis according to established procedures and the dialysis prescription. - Set-up and breakdown of dialysis machine before and after treatment. - Prepare, clean and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. - Test and monitor dialysis machine functions, including alarms, conductivity, PH, and temperature.
