Employment Type: Full time Shift: Night Shift Description: 7:00pm - 7:30am with a rotating weekend and holiday rotation. Initial training will be during the day shift. POSITION SUMMARY: · Delivers direct patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team. Performs tasks that do not require nursing judgements or administration of medications. · Duties include, but not limited to: assisting patients with ADLs as needed, obtaining vital signs, completing 15-minute safety checks, ensuring unit is properly stocked and clean, and monitoring patients and visitors to ensure safety. · Responsible for performing tasks as delegated to by the assigned RN, including but not limited to: phlebotomy draws, obtaining EKGs, completing blood glucose testing, assisting with patient care and transfer utilizing appropriate assistive devices, and administrative tasks as needed. · Additional responsibilities include promoting the safety of patients, self and oth...
