Description Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the direct care and assistance in activities of daily living to residents and direction of nursing staff such as Med Techs and LPN’s. He/she must communicate with staff and ensure that facility policies and procedures are followed while providing direct resident care. Requirements: Primary Responsibilities: o Initialing and signing all Medication Administration Records and Treatment Administration records when administering medications, treatments, or dietary supplements. Including documentation to indicate medications, treatments, and supplements not administered during your shift. o All nurse charting including: Daily Scheduled, MDS, Medicare, Charting by Exception, and documentation of lab/diagnostic results. o Completion of all assigned MDS assessments.
