Capital Project Manager

Job description

Position Purpose: This position is responsible for the strategic oversight, planning, and execution of all capital projects within the assigned portfolio. The role ensures projects are delivered on time and within approved budgets through comprehensive construction management, financial oversight, and cross-functional coordination. The position serves as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, property operations teams, contractors, consultants, and leadership, providing regular reporting on project status, financial performance, and key milestones. Based in the Atlanta metro area, this role will be responsible for the capital portfolio in Georgia in addition to supporting the Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina portfolios, as needed. Areas of responsibility are subject to change based on the additions and reductions in communities, markets, and the strategic direction of the organization.
