POSITION TITLE: Safety Manager Departments: Safety: Reports to: Director of Safety: Direct Reports: Project Safety Engineers: Summary Description: The Safety Manager provides support to Project Staff and the Concrete Strategies safety team to execute corporate safety and health standards and procedures in compliance with Federal, State, and Local requirements. This role is responsible for helping develop and sustain a zero-injury safety culture across assigned projects through consistent field presence, routine inspections, effective onboarding and training, proactive hazard identification, incident response, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Safety Manager champions proactive safety practices (near miss/hazard reporting, coaching and recognition of safe behaviors) and serves as a key partner to operations leadership to help ensure every worker goes home safe—every day.
