Job Details Per Diem- Registered Echo Tech 1 week of on call per month required M-F 4:30p-7a S/S 24 hour 2 holidays required per year Job Description: Summary: The Echocardiography Diagnostic Technologist performs complete echocardiographic examinations including M-mode, two-dimension and Doppler Echocardiography on clinical and/or research patients. Assists the Cardiologist, Fellows or other appropriate personnel in performing trans esophageal echocardiographic and stress echocardiographic examinations. He/she may also assist in coordinating efficient patient flow, staff assignments, educational support and highest quality procedures consistent with IAC standards for Echocardiography. Job Duties: - Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.(Do not delete, move or over-write this statement) - Escorts patient from waiting area to examination room and reviews written history questionnaire.
