Description POSITION SUMMARY: Academic members are responsible for the delivery of quality education services. This entails engaging students, fostering learning, role modeling professionalism, and ultimately producing competently trained faculty preparing students for professional careers. This includes working with the Program Directors over the assigned cohort(s) and other campus faculty and staff to ensure consistent and high-quality delivery of assigned courses. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Hire and Train Faculty/Staff - Assess staffing needs - Conduct search/advertising - Conduct interviews - Assess 15-minute teaching demonstrations - On-board and orient new faculty and staff (help new faculty/staff get acquainted with the HCI College way and the campus) - Mentor program chairs - Coordinate and provide faculty training Manage Faculty and Staff: - Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback to faculty - Review student evaluations of faculty - Conduct annual faculty performance evaluations - Identify low performing faculty and work with program chairs to improve performance (enhancement plans) - Monitor enhancement plans and review progress Monitor and Maintai...
