WPIX is home to NY Nightcap, Friday Night Mets games, Yankees Nation and powers sports programming on our CTV channel PIX11+. The sports department is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sports Department Intern to join PIX11 in New York City. This internship is designed for someone interested in learning the fast-paced world of sports television production and gaining hands-on experience in a live newsroom environment. The Sports Production Intern will support the sports team in the daily development and execution of sports content across broadcast and digital platforms. This role offers exposure to story development, show planning, research, guest preparation, and production coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, curious, collaborative, and eager to learn about sports storytelling in a professional television setting.
