Position Title: Staff Accountant Reports to: Senior Accounting Manager, Financial Accounting and Reporting - Finance Location: Solon, OH: POSITION SUMMARY: The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the for the Tarkett North American Accounting Shared Service Organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. This role plays a key part in the month-end close process, account reconciliations, and financial analysis. REQUIREMENTS: - Assist with completion of the month-end close processes including consolidation and maintenance of closing files, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and support schedules - Execute intercompany billing processes and ensure timely and accurate transactions - Perform intercompany AP/AR balance reconciliations to support financial reporting accuracy - Monitor SAP for intercompany processing errors and coordinate resolution efforts - Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger - Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts - Review credit card transactions for proper account coding and...
